Yes. SOU students and employees can check out both Chromebooks and laptops from the Research Help Desk on the first floor. Chromebooks can be checked out for 3 days. Laptops can be checked out for 4 hours and are for use in the library only. We also check out chargers for both.
Chromebooks and laptops should always be returned in person at the Research Help Desk inside the library. For more information about late and replacement fees, see the Circulation Services page.
